| OTHER In Wailua Homesteads Cuttings of Edible Hibiscus (Abelmoschus manihot) and Moringa oleifera. I need to cut back my plants. Both root and grow really easy. Hibiscus is tasty when eaten raw, and can be steamed and made into a nice dip with coconut... among many other uses. (A bit slimy, so if you don't like okra you won't like this either). Moringa is also called Kalamungay or drumstick tree. Very popular in the Philippines, Sri Lanka and India. You can eat the leaves, pods... various parts have medicinal properties.
